BOQ Specialist has made choosing a transactional bank account easier than ever for medical, dental and veterinary professionals, now offering clients the option to earn Qantas Points or Velocity Frequent Flyer Points on their Everyday Plus account (EPA). The EPA is currently the only points earning transactional account in Australia that allows account holders to earn points from a choice of two programs.“We understand our clients are looking for an alternative to everyday transactional banking and the Everyday Plus account provides that,” says BOQ Specialist CEO, Hugh Lander.
The BOQ Specialist Everyday Plus account rewards clients with one Qantas Point or Velocity Point for every $20 of daily average balance, calculated at the end of each month. That means if a daily average balance of $20 000 is maintained for four months, the account holder could earn enough points to fly one-way economy from Sydney to Melbourne , plus the respective taxes and fees with either Qantas+ or Virgin Australia^.
According to Lander, BOQ Specialist is focused on providing its clients with more choice and is constantly looking for ways to accommodate their personal banking preferences. “The EPA is about giving our clients a product that rewards them for their savings. And now with the addition of Qantas Frequent Flyer as a reward partner we are able to pass on a choice of which program they choose to earn points with. This then allows our clients to maintain and build on any existing loyalty points balances.”
In addition to earning points, the Everyday Plus account offers clients round-the-clock access to its Client Service Centre. Clients can access their accounts online or on their mobile devices, and BOQ Specialist charges no establishment or account keeping fees.
